Let us regress for a bit, shall we. The weekend prior to Clay and Gabby's actual birthday's, we had their parties. I already posted about Gabby's
here! The Sunday after her party we had a Fox Family party at Grandmaw and Paw Paws, where we celebrated both Gabby and Clay!

The yummy dessert Grandmaw made. They were so delicious!!!

Clay looks a little silly...

Cavan, of course, had to be around Uncle David and Aunt Ya ya, more so Uncle David, but that will one day either change, or he'll start wanting you both equally, I promise Ya ya!! =0)

Paw Paw watching over the pan of yummy cupcakes, he was a bit stingy with them too...hee hee!!

I should have done these next few pictures in collage form, but "What can ya do?"!
In these next three pictures, you will discover just what type of father Clay is...

Gabby tried to get him back...it only worked a little!

I love this kids expressions!

Grandmaw did good on the food.

Gabby got all of her gifts from the Fox family at her birthday party the day before, but Clay and I decided to wait until Sunday to give her ours...what do ya think? She loves it!!

Daddy's gift from Cavan and Gabby!

From Me!

The best present came from Ya ya and David...Captain America!!!!

He didn't want to share it either!

I never seem to get any good pics of Phil, I have to say though, I like this one!!!

Change of subject! This little rose has been outside for over a month...and counting. I took this pic two weeks ago, and it is still out there, and still looks like this. I would have to call it stubborn.

My awesome rose bush, still blooming as well!

We thought we were only going to get two watermelons off of our little watermelon plant, but low and behold we discovered three more. Here is the first one, that didn't make it very far before it started to die. Gabby loved holding it.

Here are the other two, still buried in the bush. I have since picked them, they didn't get very big. I think two frost may have stunted their growth. We have yet to cut them open and see if they even formed. Something to do...
(click on it to see them better)

Our wonderful visitors were so fun to have. You cannot tell by these two pics below, however Cavan absolutely loved having a buddy closer to his own age to follow around. I believe someone has the others drink in these two pics.

While playing in the bedroom, I heard Gabby say, "let's hide in the closet". I went to investigate. That did not last long at all. =0)

Enjoying some snack and movie time. They were so cute and good.

One of Gabby's Halloween treats from Ya ya, David and Phil. She thoroughly enjoyed eating and chewing on the eyeballs...

Cavan enjoyed the worms...

Last, but never least, we celebrated Gabby's birthday at Granny and Pop Pops!

Found her awesome b-day cake
here!!! It was super yummy. I have to say, Kit Kats definitely have a nice kick to them with icing on the back side.
(Note the holiday m & ms, they were cheaper than the regular ones =0))
Blowing the candles out became quite an event. You can see how much everyone wanted to help Gabby blow them out.

Ladies hanging out in the kitchen. Wendy is so stinking cute...

The day we went home, we took the kids outside and let them play for a bit. Gabby loves little Anna!!!

Ya just want to squeeze those cheeks...

and these too!!!

She tried her hardest to get up on the swing by herself. She did get a few times. The next task would be to get her to stay on the swing longer than one push.

These two are a riot...all you can do is smile and giggle with them!

Gabby asking Anna to get in again, very sweetly I might add. However, Anna was not up for another ride.

So we eat leaves.

With a little hesitation, he rides off with his big Sister...

"Bye!!!!"

Twisted. She didn't want to smile anymore.

Cavan really wanted to go to Uncle Johnny and Aunt Kerriann's house. We'll have to make sure we make it over there on our next visit. He walked all the way over and up the steps.

I snapped this picture and then ran over to him. He made it up the steps and then turned around to come back down. Would not have been a pretty picture, seeing how he still walks down them like Tom Hanks in the end of the "Burb's".

"What Mom?"

CHHEEEEEeeezzzzeeeee!!!!

Whheeeeee!!!!!

"What did you say to me?" "Not going to push me again?" "Did I hear you right?" "I better not have!" - Some of the many phrases that come to mind when I see this face...=0)

This little boy is just the cutest little thing, especially in his sassy little black diaper and some white little socks. I seriously was singing some 80s songs while he was running around...
(I still cannot believe he is 16 months, almost 17 months)
