Venus and Jupiter...

I'll leave the amazing night pictures to the professionals. I am happy to at least have some bright spots where the Moon, Venus and Jupiter are! =0)

The little dot of light in the top left corner is Jupiter, big light is the moon, and little light next to the moon is Venus. So cool!

Kids just say the darnedest things...

Last night we were eating over at the Grandparents. Cavan was being a little stickler at the table, and just done with food or at least the food that was in front of him. At one point I went into the kitchen to find something else for him to eat, when I hear, I think David ask Gabby, "Do you beat your brother?". Well Gabby very matter-of-factually states, "No..only Mom does!"!!! I started to crack up laughing in the kitchen, and so did the whole table. Gabby though, came streaking into the kitchen to me about to burst into tears. She was so embarrassed, thinking she had said something wrong. I picked up her, while laughing hysterically, telling her it was okay and that it she was just fine, nobody was laughing at her. Ha ha!! That probably sounds bad, but lately we have been dealing with Cavan crawling out of his crib repeatedly every night for the past few weeks. I am about to go insane trying to keep in him in bed, so I give him a pop, sometimes a few more, every once in awhile to let him know I am very serious. It has not been going well, but Gabby lays there trying to help by telling him to get into bed. It never even crossed my mind what she was thinking every time Cavan would get a little pop, but now I know!!! Ha ha!! Needless to say, we did try a different approach last night, no pops, and he did go to bed a lot quicker...aw kids! They just say the darnedest things...in front of everyone...to make you look really bad...and they really do not even realize it. Gotta love it!!

"Party on Wayne, party on Garth..."

No idea why, but we didn't take pictures at my little b-day bash at the Fox household. It was a wonderful evening filled with some yummy food and fun family! Thanks y'all!!!! This cake that Bonnie made for me, was absolutely delicious! I think I ate almost all of the leftovers...and it was so worth it. I will have to get her recipe and share...yummy.
So have you ever wondered what Cavan's hair would like after about 4 or 5 days, yes I said days, of not having a bath? Well, look no further than these next few awesome pictures of just that. He puts his hands in his hair after every meal...it could be that I am leaving him in his seat too long, or that I just do not pay enough attention to him, or I should probably wash his hands after every bite...or maybe I just need to bath him more often...ha ha!
I could just eat him up, he is so stinkin' cute!

He has the funniest little cow licks going on!

"Take a picture of me playing the ipad Mommy?" "Okay!" She loves to play on the itouch more though, isn't that crazy? Who would've thought?!
Cavan has bitten through his lip on several occasions, has busted his lip more than that, however he has never had a gooseberry on his head. At least not that I remember. This one came as a surprise though. We were playing "I'm gonna getcha" (Cavan's favorite) and at one point he turns around and takes off into the living room, only to find a knob sticking out on the rocking chair next to him. It was so sad, he cried so hard, and I couldn't figure out why until I noticed his forehead. Poor kid!

(It's right under his hair line in the top left corner, and blueish colored)
You'd seriously think that we didn't feed our animals, at least by this scene from the other night when Clay was enjoying some chicken wings. "All eyes on Clay everyone...maybe he'll drop something." He never does though...poor little unfed animals...*sniff* *sniff*
(Don't look at the mess. Do you see the huge box of animal crackers sitting there? If you'd like to come share them with us, you are more than welcome too. I know Paw Paw will not mind...hee hee!)

My little cutie pie is getting so big. She made these very yummy sugar cookies in preschool on Tuesday and I insisted on taking pictures. She was all for it, until the 10th shot and then we got...
this face...because she was done and just wanted to eat her scrumptious sugar cookie. I wanted to eat one too!
Thanks Ms. Tiffany!!

No way...

I still cannot believe I am 33. I do not look my age at all.
People who meet me think that I am still in my 20s.
I guess I should be grateful for the that.
Truthfully though, I am.
I like to think that I'll be like Mom and Dad. They both still look like they are in their late
40s, early 50s, but going on 60. Now that, that blows my mind.
We had two parties this year to celebrate the old Birthday.
We kicked off the celebration in Maple Hill. Did I mention that one of the big events of January, aside from Julia's Baptism of course,
was that Mom came home! Yay! We were so excited to see Granny!!
Ella and Gabby were so excited to lick this yummy delicious goofy cake Granny had made.
If you look closely, you can see where Cavan had already partaken of this deliciousness.
Photos from here on, are courteous of Johnny Kokinda. Just thought y'all would like to know
that!

(I think he did a fantastic job)

(Did I mention these were taken by Johnny =0))

These were taken by yours truly, the next day. Cavan has an obsession with Boots.
He loves to try on Gabby's galoshes that Pop Pop bought her here at home, and at Grannys, well,
he could not resist Pop Pop's boots. He did have a time getting into them though.
Almost went down a few times. He really wanted to follow Pop out, but he was not very quick in
those boots. Silly kid!
We had a wonderful time, and I had a wonderful Birthday as well, in Maple Hill!
So fun!!
January 15th & 16th were the dates! (This is more for journaling purpose =0))

Bubbling over...

Julia was Baptized January 14th. I still cannot believe she is 8 years old. I remember getting off of the plane from my Mission, and walking down the hallway with Kerri and her bubbling over with excitement. She said she couldn't wait until we got home to tell me. I was so surprised and excited. I had just met Emma who was 5 months already, and then to find out I would be there for Julia's birth! Yay, it was wonderful!

Now she is so big and so smart!!!!!!!! She'll be graduating from college before any of us know it! I know time has to be flying for Johnny and Kerri!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations Julia!!!

Washington D.C. lights...

are just gorgeous. I have only been to see the D.C. lights once before, and that was years ago. They changed the whole layout. I remembered walking around the Temple and the lights being all over, now though, they are only in the front. Still beautiful, do not get me wrong, just a little disappointing. Gabby loved it, Cavan loved it, and we, Bonnie, Barry and I, were regretting not having brought a stroller. The whole trip, that was all I could think about. There was a lot of this, and then a lot of me running or Gabby running after him, or better yet, me carrying him. I think I gained at least a pound of muscle in my left arm.

(For some reason, I carry him on the left the most, no idea why.)

Gabby was in great spirits, especially with her camera. She even took pictures of random children, and they would actually stop for her. I hope she sticks with it.

At least Barry is smiling...
Was not expecting this at the Smithsonian...thankfully the kids were not paying attention. Ha!
Just a glimpse of Cavan...
still for two seconds and then...
he was gone...and gone...and gone!
Gabby was really fascinated by these two. She couldn't believe they were naked, Oh my!
This is how all of the parks throughout D.C. were. Sad...
