Party Weekend and Week!!

We went to Jacksonville Sunday to celebrate Pop Pop's birthday, which actually was the week before and we all enjoyed it. =0) Happy Birthday Dad!!
Monday when we finally rolled out of bed, Pop Pop had a wonderful breakfast made and afterward, he and Gabby went out to do some clean-up out back. It was so fun to watch Gabby enjoy "helping" Pop Pop work!! =0)
Pop Pop and Granny brought us back to Greenville yesterday and when we were walking up to the house, we saw how much the rain had helped all of my roses. I had to cut some this morning and bring them in. They are gorgeous!!
Like I said before, the rain really helped everything start to really bloom. I had to snap some shots of all of my greenery and flowers! I'm so excited that they all have done well so far! Gabby, this morning, had somehow discovered her little white chocolate Easter bunny. Since she had eaten her breakfast really well, I decided that just a little would be fine before lunch. So I had to take a few of her eating it. Oddly enough, she took two bites and she was done. Silly kid!! Then she wanted jelly beans. Haha!!

Pretty in Pink!!

I just had to snap some pictures of Gabby Sunday. She had on her little Easter dress and her cute little pink hat. =0)

This morning, she was wanting to be near me while I was doing something at the table. I told her I was going to take her picture while she was "coloring" and you can kind of see her little smile behind her pacifier (which I have no clue how she got it back in her mouth). =0)

Pirate Fest....Arrrrrrrgh!!!! =0)

This morning, we decided we'd take Gabby to the Pirate Fest downtown. We have actually never been ourselves, so it was new for us too!! It ended up being very cool!! We discovered there was so much more at the very end, which was a bummer for us, because we were ready to leave. Gabby loved every minute of it. We forgot the stroller, so she had the wonderful privilege of walking, which she would have wanted anyways. =0) Paw Paw, Grandma and Aunt Ya ya came with us, making it extra fun, especially for Gabby!!

Last night, Uncle David and Aunt Ya ya came down to give Gabby some gifts. She immediately opened the jewelry, however the Dora hat they got her, she still claims is Uncle David's, because he came in the house with it on his head. So silly!!! =0) I had to snap some shots of Gabby helping Uncle David out with her jewelry! Doesn't he look great??

80 degrees of fun and some hair!!

I decided yesterday that Gabby needed a little outside time, since I had been cleaning all morning and she had been keeping herself occupied with her "princess" stuff. I wasn't sure she would enjoy the water at all, since last year, when taken outside, she did one squirt and was done. This year, I definitely can see a change in personality and love for the water. She went crazy running through the streams and jumping and giggling. It was wonderful to watch! Of course, half way through, she wanted me to join her, and unfortunately Mommy is not in the best physical state to be running through the water. =0)

Here is my 2nd attempt at a french braid with Gabby's little head of hair. She actually does really good while I'm attempting to mess with it. Of course, it is already out now. Her hair is so fine like mine, that it will come out just by looking at it wrong. =0)

Easter Saturday and Sunday!!

Aunt Ya Ya and Uncle David bought Gabby these bunny ears and little flower headband. We tried to put them on Gabby at our Easter egg hunt, however Gabby would have nothing to do with them, so we tried them on Shelby and Anna! They were a hit with Anna, yet Shelby was a little less enthused. =0) Thanks Aunt Ya ya!!

Our little Easter Egg hunt at home was a success! Gabby loved following Pop pop around looking for all of the precious little eggs. She did really well and was absolutely hilarious at times with her reaction to finding a egg. Thanks Granny and Pop Pop!!
Enjoying the presents and treats left by the Easter Bunny! Gabby has repeatedly told me today that the Easter bunny is coming. Just like Santa, we'll probably hear about him for awhile! =0)
