Fun in the Sun!!

Paw paw and Grandma bought Gabby this awesome chair for outside. We moved it in so she could get used to it and she has come to absolutely love it. It has become her chair in the living room and she'll sit and eat, drink, talk and hold her babies in it. She is such a silly little goose.

I thought I'd attempt taking pictures of her in her Easter dresses and well, it took a bit to get her to calm down and let me take them. These are a few of the good ones, or I should say the non-crying ones that I got. =0)

I decided that we needed to try our luck with the water hose Thursday. So I got Gabby in her little bathing suit, put my own on and we went outside for some water action. It ended up being a show of Zaidy. She would chase the water, let us spray her with it and then run away, but come bouncing back when Gabby and I would yell for her. She was such a trooper.

My awesome Mother's day present from Clay. A big colorful umbrella for my table that I got last year from Bonnie for Mother's day. =0)

Last night we went to the pond with Barry and Bonnie so Barry could watch Gabby with the ducks. She did a good job, only eating the bread and trying to jump in with the ducks. So silly!

A little turtle popped up to get some bread and came really close to us, while dragging bread under water. =0)

What a week and weekend!!

Last week we had the privilege of watching Aunt Sonja graduate. She did so awesome, had tons of ropes and medals all over her. When they were coming in we were looking for the blond with the most "bling". hehe!! We are so happy for her! =0) Here Clay (who is giving his cheesy "I don't want to smile for this" smile) and I are waiting for the festivities to begin.

I gave Gabby a cookie and this is where she planted herself the other day. She really liked that cookie. She even smiled at me and tried to show it to me. =0)

On Saturday, some awesome friends of ours invited us to go Strawberry picking with them. It was Gabby's first time and she loved it. She carried her little basket around, picking, eating, picking some more, dropping some and then picking them up, picking up rotten ones, and trying to eat them too. =0)

What a weekend!

We had a very fun and productive Mothers Day weekend. We started it out early by going to Jacksonville on Thursday. Kerri was awesome enough to come and get Gabby and I and Clay joined us Saturday morning. Friday night was Molly's college graduation at UNCW, so we had a blast celebrating that with her. She had a surprise for everyone, which I will not disclose on here. (Check her blog out to find out the cool info.. If she posts about it. ha ha!) Saturday we spent the day with Grannie and the fam, having a delicious dinner that night. Then we came back Sunday Morning. We spent that evening with Grandma F., having a yummy dinner and hanging out with the fam there. Clay surprised me with my present Sunday morning. He got me a umbrella for my table outside. It is gorgeous and I've already had it opened for the shade. I love it, love it, love it. I did have a wonderful 2nd Mothers day. =0) Little guy insists on laying with Clay or I in the morning. Thursday morning, Clay snagged him and made him let Gabby cuddle to him. It was hilarious.

This was Grandma's Mother's day present from Paw Paw. Gabby is adjusting. =0)

While Grandma and I were admiring the roses in her backyard, Gabby decided to clean up. Literally! She also wanted us to help, so she brought us the papertowels. =0)
