A little late...

Paw Paw came over a few weeks back to watch a movie with us, well, this is what happened half way through for the poor guy...and the dog!

We celebrated Paw Paw's birthday back right before his actual birthday, which was the 22nd of August. He wanted to go to his favorite little Italiano restaurant out in the middle of nowhere! It was yummy!!!!

Then we came back to our house to have some delicious cupcakes and open his awesome presents.

Grandmaw got him the cutest little cupcakes and the cutest candles.

Gabby is trying to keep Cavan from blowing out the candles, even though he wasn't trying. Ha!

Grandmaw went all out and got Paw Paw a iPad 2, just like hers!

Last but not least, our awesome watermelon plant! We had this thing sprout up a month or so ago, and didn't seem to have anything growing on it. About two weekends ago, Clay was outstide barbequing and looked under the porch, and lo and behold...we had a watermelon!!!!!

Squishy cheeks!!!

I just had to snap a few shots of Cavan and his cute little bum. He is so adorable. It's a good thing he wears a diaper, or I would be squishing those cheeks all day long! Ha!

Of course, I had to post these pictures also, so that Gabby and Cavan can have something else to get ill at me about when they are older. I do not want them to be bored with me...hee hee!

(I think she is too serious sometimes...I wonder where she gets that from?)

Yesterday, the girls were in the bedroom, and I was cleaning the kitchen. At one point they start arguing...again, and so I go back to take care of it. I'm not gone a minute, and this little turkey manages to open up the dishwasher, mind you it was not opened at all, and then do this...

He is so quick, and so sneaky. He was giggling even while I was taking him down. He loves to run from me, even when I am being serious, and he laughs and laughs when I get a hold of him too. What to do, what to do...=0)

Pool time!!

When I finished taking pictures, they settled down quite nicely, for at least 20 minutes before the constant badgering at the back door started up. So fun!

Finally...the Concert!!!!!

That would be the "Griffin" ride behind Clay! Our seats had a great view of the ride. The cart is hanging over the huge drop right now, about ready to descend! Let's just say it is ca-razy to be looking down at what could possibly be where you would fall to your death if the ride broke...ha ha!!! Great thought, right?!
So the concert was AWESOME. Grayson Chance has a nice voice for his age. I love his song "Waiting Outside the Lines", go here to listen to his video. =0) He only performed for about 30 minutes, and then we waited while they set the stage up for Miranda Cosgrove...

Gabby appears to be paying attention to other things, but I think she was just really in to the music. Ha!
They had all of the little V.I.P. kids come on the stage for her last song which Gabby loved. This is the last song they sang, that me and Gabby loved to sing and dance around the house too. Now worries folks, she has not nor will she see the videos until she is a bit older. I'm thinking at least 5...ha ha ha!!!! Here is another (this one was from the concert the night before we went at Busch Gardens) and another (This one was from the same night we were there) of her songs that we enjoyed. =0) This is the first song I heard from her when we had cable and could watch iCarly. I liked it so much I put it on my itouch! =0)

...we are always thinking about you two!!!!!!!!!!!! We can't help it, you are everywhere! =0) Come to find out, they keep two Border Collies in the horses stalls at night, named Katie and Molly, and they actually have their names up for when they are sleeping over!!! We didn't get to see them though, which was a bummer! Can't wait to go back to B.G. again!!!!!!!!!!!! =0)

Oh yeah, some cool birds!!!
It's a little ridiculous the price they charge for this one tiny little cup of nectar. They were so kind to give us a extra cup for Gabby, just so she could not spill what little nectar you get all at once.

These parrots were meanies while we were there. They wouldn't sit still very long, nor jump on our fingers like they were doing for other folks walking through. Gabby and I were quite bummed, until we met...

and here I am scared he might start pecking my head or even Cavan, or worse...pooping.
Apparently Cavan did not notice him at first, which was so funny. I was hesitant that Cavan would start plucking some feathers.
After walking over to say hi to Cavan, he lept up onto my head...
and started looking for bugs. I guess I was in the clear, because he did not start pecking my precious scalp. I do not think I could have handled that...my self esteem as it is, isn't all that high. Imagine if a bird decided I need to be cleaned....Ahhhhh!
Here I have already put him back down from his first venture, and as you can see he is making his way to me...again! He repeated the whole song and dance, starting on the right, moving to left and then ending up on my head. Probably would have gone in for 3rd go around, however we decided to say our goodbyes and run! Ha ha!!
We loved the Aviary, definitely making the effort to go in the next time we head up there!!

Cavan is just too much sometimes! All I want to do is give him hugs and kisses...probably too much for his liking! What can I say though, he is adorable! Right?!
