Fun with the Baldwins!

We have now been in Jacksonville for the last week enjoying our time with Katie, Brian and cutie pie Galina. Clay came and visited on Sunday, for the day, so he finally got to meet Galina for the first time too. We rode up to Greenville on Monday and had lunch with Clay and then went to see some of Katie's old professors from her time at ECU. We only ran into two, which was a bit of a bummer, but it was still cute to see their reaction to Galina. We went and saw Bonnie and Barry too, so they could meet Galina. Of course, just our luck, Galina fell asleep on the way over, so they got to peek at her in the car seat. The babies did exceptionally well on the trip too. We really didn't have any problems with them all day. Yay!! Going to sleep that night was another story though. Ha ha! Well, actually it was more of a problem with Gabby. Galina was pretty good. Here is Galina with Aunt Molly!!

Gabby with Aunt Mi mi's purse. She loved carrying it around everytime she saw it. It was pretty heavy, so that is why there is the need to drag it. =0)

Dinner time, yummy!! Galina is so cute when she eats. She'll grab the spoon out of Katie's hand and suck on it as hard as she can. Katie is so good about it too.

Hanging out with Mommy! Galina is a little picky as to whom she will stay with. She'll smile at everyone, but if ya take her, her patience only lasts so long! She is so adorable when she smiles, it's almost worth not holding her, just so you can see those little gums!! =0)

My beautiful Valentine roses from Clay!! He was so sweet and sent them to the house in Jacksonville and when they arrived, I was comletely suprised. He sent some chocolates too. Ahh, a man who knows a woman's heart!! I Love some chocolates!! Ha ha!! Of course, he sent them to both Gabby and I!!

Gabby found this lovely cabinet full of things to pull out!!! She was too cute doing it too!!

Aunt Molly pulled Gabby's bangs up finally and so she was pebbles all night!! She had a tu tu on at Kerri's house and looked absolutely adorable. I had no camera on me, which drives me crazy!!

All of the girls watching Baby Einstein. Gabby absolutely loved sitting in the Bumbo and then of course, getting into the big kids chairs and trying to sit in those. She is so silly!!

Like Father, like Daughter!! Galina sat next to Brian for quite a bit of time watching Baby Einstein before she got tired of it!! (She was in her bumbo!)

Gabby just had to sit in the Bumbo after she saw Galina in it! She is such a silly kid. She loves giving Galina kisses and hugs and trying to make her do what she wants her to, which Galina does not like at all! Ha ha!!

I just can't wait till...

I get to meet my little niece Galina and I get to see my Sister Katie and Brother-n-law Brian!! I'm so excited, the days are just not going by quick enough. Of course, now I'm worried I'll forget to do something or not bring something for them. I wish they could stay longer than two weeks, but we definitely take what we can get. This just means I definitely have to shoot for a trip this summer to Hawaii in order to see them again!!! I can't wait to see you guys!!!

Southern Living at Home

I have discovered that I do not have a lot of your emails or I have the wrong one. I sent out an email earlier today inviting all of my Greenville buddies and Jacksonville buddies to a Southern Living party at my house on the 27th of February at 6:30pm, and a lot of your email addresses came back saying they didn't exist or delivery was not possible. So...you are all invited to my little party. Don't worry about buying anything if ya do not want too, I would just love to have y'all over for some food, socializing and fun!! =0) Hope you can make it, and please let me know if you can by either commenting on this post or shooting me an email if you have my address!! Thanks a bunch and hope to see y'all there!!

Gabby on the move!

Gabby has been on the ball about doing new things and getting in to things. Here she is sitting on my foot, for some odd reason. I think at first she was backing up but then realized that my foot was there and decided to practice sitting. =0)

I couldn't get her to look at me, so this is a picture of me chasing her around the house with her pigtails in. I'm new at doing these with infants so needless to say, these were out in about two hours. The next two I tried were crooked, with one way up high on her head and the other down around her neck. Ha ha! Unfortunately I didn't get pictures of them. It was hilarious though!

So I'm vacuuming this morning and letting Gabby just run around in her bedroom and the living room. At one point I hear her in her room clanking around, and look back down the hallway and she has her vacuum out and is cleaning around her door. Of course I couldn't get the camera fast enough then. It took me vacuuming again to get her mind off of the camera. She finally walked over, picked up her vacuum and started cleaning where you see her. She is such a little nut. I love it. Of course the big vacuum cord is all in the way, ay! =0)
