I could cry...

I left my camera in Jacksonville last week. I of course could've gone and gotten at any time so these tears are definitely not huge ones. =0) Still, last night we went to a pool party at Gold's Gym for church. It was a going away party too for the Alred's who are moving to Utah for his schooling. We hope they are going to have a blast out there, yet we are going to miss them here. Clay came last night too, so it was his first time seeing Gabby in the pool. He even held her in it and she just clung to him. I wanted to spit nails because I didn't have anyway to snap photos. Ay! She did do really really well, and didn't cry until she was splashed in the face by some little ones running around in the water. After Clay and I held her we passed her to Uncle David and he held her in the deep end and she just watched and splashed a little at all of the people swimming around. He and Aunt Sonja passed her back and forth and she did really good. She is such a silly little baby. Thankfully the pool water was pretty warm too, so it was kind of like her bath, sans the toys. =0) Hopefully I'll get the camera back next week when I make my way to good old J-ville. Love y'all!!

Beach time!

I had meant to put these up forever ago, but have forgotten as time has gone on. =0) We went to the beach back at the beginning of June to see my Mom's side of the family who had come from all over to visit. My cousin C.L. came with his family from Texas, and his sister, Wynne, came from Morganton with her pups and a very handsome friend. =0) Also, my cousins Jamie and Jodi came with their families too, Jamie from Raleigh and Jodi from Florida. It was a great time. My Aunts and Uncle live in Jacksonville, so they had to make a drive to Emerald Isle also. =0) I met up with Mom, Molly, Nick, Kerriann, Julia and Ella and we all went down to the beach while the others cooked dinner. This was Gabby's first encounter with the ocean. She did not like it one bit, let me tell ya. She would stare at it, but the moment you put her feet in, she would scream and pull at ya. It was fun though!! Julia and Ella had a blast. Although, I didn't know it but Julia hates the ocean yet Ella will go out with anyone. It's hilarious, when I would have thought it would've been vice versa. Also, for anyone who may want to know, we finished Zelda on the Wii and it was great! =0) Love y'all!!!
Here is our first dip in the ocean!
Face of distress!!
Being good with Aunt Molly!Poor Julia! She just can't stand the ocean or sand it seems in this picture! =0)Ella dug right on in!!!So, oddly enough my cousin C.L.'s son, Jackson looks an awful lot like Gabby. Aunt Karen gave us a picture of the two of them looking at the camera at the same time, and it is kind of crazy how much they look a like. Jackson is bigger of course, he was born two months before, but still it is so weird!!! =0)
I'm hoping they are going to grow up playing together. This was the first child she paid any attention to that wasn't a foot taller than her!
Here is C.L., his gorgeous wife, Lisa and my Aunt Karen!
Aunt Molly, Uncle Nick, and Julia waiting for the big family picture.Aunt Molly getting her camera ready! I couldn't figure out where the button was on mine quick enough, so Molly has the final picture!! =0)Here are most of us!!! =0)I feel bad also because I didn't get any pictures of the newest addition to the Vogel family nor his parents, little Jesse James. He was so adorable and didn't cry at all while we were there. How awesome is that! I'm sorry guys, but I'll get some of ya and stick up here soon!! =0)

Anyone want to play? =0)

Here are the directions:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty cool (and funny) to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

Galina is Here!!!

Isn't she gorgeous, and so is Mommy too?!!! Galina has finally come and she is quite the little cutie and so chubby too. I will not post much about this just because I know Katie and Brian will want to show Galina to the world, however I do want to put a couple of pictures up though, just because I can't stand not showing her off a little itty bit! =0) She is so beautiful and we cannot wait to meet her. =0) Go Katie and Brian!!!!!! We love you guys!!!

Old Blog!

I finally got my old blog page to look pretty decent but I think I'll stick with this one. I have kept it though, if anyone is curious of things we have been doing, like the BMX tour and all of that fun stuff. The address for it is http://www.smartasafox2.blogspot.com. Pretty simple!! =0)

Rolling and kneeling!!

Gabby is slowly attempting to crawl and has been leaping and rolling in her venture to do so. Twice I have placed her on her blanket and found her soon after way away from it. I don't leave the room or anything but I'm not always paying attention. It's hilarious and I have tried to catch her on tape. One day we were sitting on the floor and before I knew it she had pulled herself up to the coffee table. She is getting very very active. =0)

Family Random Photos!

We got together with all of the Grandkids yesterday and David took pictures of them! It was pretty fun watching them trying to cooperate. I followed them around and took pictures with my camera. You can tell this if you notice in the pictures the kids aren't looking at me. =0) Some I did steal from David and Sonja, because they were too cute not to have. We are really going to miss having all of the grand babies around. They were a blast to hang out with. =0) I guess Phil and Gabby will have to do. He he!! Just joking, do not take this seriously!! =0) I have also added some lovely pictures of Gabby's mo hawk. I was playing around with her hair after her bath the night before last and gave her a mo hawk to show Clay and it kept all through the night. We put the bow in her hair for the pictures to get it to lay down. I thought personally it would be great to have her like that in the pictures, but I had a feeling others would not find it so funny. He he!! I actually took these first three.
Miranda was so good with Gabby and they looked pretty adorable too.
This was a cute one David took when they were out re-doing some of the outdoor pictures. This one I took just at the right time! Gabby is slowly figuring out how to kiss!
Just had to get one of the help at work! He he!
Sonja had given Bonnie some sunflowers at the beginning of the summer and this was the result. These things are massive especially with tiny Miranda next to them!!Dallas was really good at being silly during the photos! Gotta love Phil's surprised look!It was so silly trying to get these two to sit at least a foot closer. They did not want to be to lovey. =0)The dogs did great waiting for us to come in and play with them. Of course once we were inside they wouldn't stay out of the pictures and so ended up being put right back out. =0)This was just cute because David was trying to get them to leave but they didn't quite understand what they were doing. He he!Here are the shots of Gabby's mo hawk! When Gabby spotted her reflection in the mirror she decided she need to kiss on it, over and over again. I thought one picture was enough, she was as cute as ever in all of the others.

Sunday after the 4th!

I have posted a ton of different post, so please go back and look at them all. I think there are about 4 or 5 new ones. I know if I don't get as many on now, I'll regret it and even get ill at myself for not having gotten them on sooner!!! =0) Sorry there are so many. Here is the lovely dress Gabby wore yesterday to Church and then one of the onesie she wore under the dress and then wore the rest of the day!!! The dress was actually one that came from Aunt Kerriann that Ella or Julia wore, I'm not quite sure which. =0) The onesie was a gift to Gabby when she was born!!! I think from Aunt Molly or Aunt Katie!! If I'm wrong, sorry, I need to go back and look at her baby shower gift list!!!! Let me know who if it wasn't them!!! =0)

Here is a blurry picture of Gabby's first tooth. She doesn't like for anyone to mess with her mouth so this was very difficult to get. It's the white spot in the upper right side of her mouth. One corner of it has actually broke through the skin and is like a little dagger in her mouth. Only Gabby would have a tooth come in in an awkward spot. =0) I'm hoping to get a better one soon!!

4th of July

I know it is way past the 4th but I still wanted to post some pictures from our trip to Jacksonville. We had a blast even though the absence of Mom, Molly, Katie and Brian was definitely noticeable. Pop Pop, Uncle Johnny, Aunt Kerriann, Julia, Ella, Uncle Jason, Aunt Erin, Jason, Emma, Nick, Jan, Aunt Karen, Riley, Judy, Wayne, Becky and the very fun Whaley Family all were there to eat some bar-b-que pork and chicken and lots of other good stuff and then watch the fireworks that Pop Pop and Uncle Johnny had spent quite a bit of money on. They were superb! Thanks guys!!!

Riley and Jason watch with Awe as the fireworks go off!!
This is Johnny, Jason, Pop Pop and Nick setting the fireworks off in a field behind the shed. It was great, at one point we thought they had one explode on the ground, but come to find out it was supposed to be like that. =0)
Wayne finally got to hold Gabby without her crying at him.
How's this picture Becky? =0)Tire swing time!
Aunt Karen was great with Gabbs!

Everyone enjoying the outdoors, prior to the bug repellent!
The guys lighting up the sky!!

A cool view from the back door of the farmhouse!
Men folk coming in for the food!!!
Gabby getting her first bit of table food from Aunt Karen!Ladies just chilling out!
Kerriann and Erin in the middle of talking! =0)
Riley helped put Gabby down the first time, as Judy looked on!
Emma and Julia being silly!

Ella decided she wanted to sit in the chair that was brought to the farmhouse for Gabby which somehow ended up under the table! Silly girl! She didn't want to get out of it at all! I think Kerriann finally had to get her! =0)
Gabby pooped as usual!
