The month of June has been a whirlwind of events. I thought for sure we would have a nice relaxing month at home, getting in shape, working on school work and chores, and then having lots of fun at our house. Well, as usual, things worked out differently. We started off the month with a wonderful party for one of our nephews on the 4th. It was so fun, we all got to spend time with my parents who are serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints. We then had intended on going from Thursday to Saturday, the 14th through the 16th, to the Foxes for some fun while Barry is on his road to recovery. Well, that turned into a week and a half of helping them because, the poor guy ended up back in the hospital with some complications. No fun for him or Bonnie. We stayed and helped around the house, trying to relive any stress or problems that may arise at the home front. He finally came home on the 19th (I'm pretty sure). In the mix of things, we got to go to a big June Baby birthday bash at the camp on the 17th, which the kids absolutely loved. From there we went home, but headed back Monday to help out that week with anything we could at the Foxes. Picking up Dianne was a blast and driving her back on Friday, for her to stay till Sunday. She is so funny and sweet! We took her back on Sunday and then were back to Greenville for the day on the 26th. Cavan had his 8 year appointment, and it went great. He is getting big, slowly. He is just a small kid. =0) It was a busy busy month. The best part of the beginning of July, was getting to spend the entire week with my awesome Sisters, which of course included other family visits, and also Cavans Baptism. Still cannot believe he is 8 and was Baptized. He was super funny during his interview and then throughout the service, he was all smiles. It was a blessing to have most of our family and our dear friends there to celebrate with him. He loved all of the attention. At one point though, having remembered his sisters big day, asked where his presents were. I giggled and had to explain that his biggest gift was Baptism and the gift of the Holy Ghost. The greatest gifts of all. One day, I know he will understand. It is such a blessing to have the constant companionship and help of the Holy Ghost and our Savior. He accepted my answer with a half smile, and then was off to play with his cousins and friends.
After his Baptism photos, I of course, had to take family pictures. These kids are getting so big and so darn cute, I must say.
