June 21st was a Beautiful, wonderful, magnificant Day!!!

Well, I am finally getting around to posting pictures of our big day and wonderful new addition!! =0) Cavan is such a good baby and Gabby is already a wonderful big Sister! Clay actually was able to cut his umbilical cord. With Gabby, she had meconium, so they whisked her to a table and did everything over there before bringing her to us! The nurses and Doctors were so wonderful and obliged us with taking pictures! The nurse on the left in this collage, named Kay, was the wonderful one who gave me a shot of lidocaine before doing my i.v.! Didn't feel a thing, or even after all of it wore off, she did so wonderful...I never felt it at all! Love her for that! haha!! =0)

Before they brought Clay into the room with me, the anesthesiologist asked me if he (Clay) could hold his stomach for all of this, and I quickly reassured him, that he most definitely could. Clay has a iron stomach when it comes to surgery!! haha!! I was so glad he was there holding my hand through all of it, and could be apart (as much as possible), with the birth of Cavan!
Gabby was so adorable when she got to meet Cavan for the first time! I don't think Pop Pop could get her close enough to him! =0)

Some of our wonderful gifts that we received! The flowers and balloons were gorgeous, Katie, Molly, Sonja and Dana!! Thank you so much! The little Grover doll, Mom gave us before we left the hospital, and when we got home, in the car seat it went by big Sister Gabby!! =0) Isn't she so sweet?!!! =0) By the way, thanks Dianne, Scarlett, Mamie and Aaron for coming to see us! We loved that you could share in our joy of having little man join us! =0)

Some shots of our day leaving the hospital! Our wonderful Doctor came in and posed for us with Cavan! She was so amazing, and it was just so calming to know she was in charge of getting Cavan out safely! =0) Clay and I talked about what outfit to put little man in as his "coming home outfit", and unfortunately we talked about it up til we went into the Hospital! So, the night before, we decided on his little onesie that says "I have arrived" (given to us by Aunt Ya ya and Uncle David). We had a back-up just in case he was too big for the newborn outfit! He came home at 7 lbs .07 oz, so we were safe! The pants were massive, however, he still looked adorable!! We could not keep him in the beautiful little yellow and white outfit my Mom made for Gabby for her homecoming, because it was so hot, so we took pictures of him in it at the hospital!! It's so funny to think that Gabby, even though she was born weighing about 3 1/2 ounces more than Cavan, he actually left the hospital weighing more than her when she came home! =0)

We wrapped him in a little blanket sent from Aunt Katie and Aunt Mi mi! Thanks to everyone for all of the wonderful outfits and gifts that you guys have given to him!

Granny was awesome and came up for the three days while we were in the Hospital, and stayed with Gabby for us! We were so relieved that she was good for her too! =0) Ella did good for a few seconds while I took a picture of her holding Cavan, and then promptly said she was done!! Gotta love honesty!

I had to post a collage of Gabby and her sweet "snake" from Uncle David! She loved it so much, she attempted, along with eating it, to jump rope with it too! So talented and what a imagination!

Uncle Johnny, Aunt Kerri, and the girls came up today so Uncle Johnny could meet Cavan! I had to snap a shot of course! =0) Gabby was so ecstatic to have Julia, Ella and Anna there to play with! She loves all of her cousins so much!! =0)

I had to post a little movie of all of the little videos Clay took on the big day! My favorite has to be of Gabby meeting Cavan for the first time! I love how in the end she starts to ask for me, it makes me cry to think she was thinking of me at that moment! =0) Love my babies!!

Phil's Ice Cream Party!!

We were able to celebrate Philips' graduation on Saturday, with a fabulous Ice Cream party thrown by his Momma! =0) It was a yummy yummy party! Phil made out like a bandit with all of his wonderful gifts too! I, of course, forgot my camera when we got to the graduation, which was a real bummer! I enjoy so much taking photos, and just my luck, a perfect occasion arises, and I am unable too! Ay!! =0)

Congrats Phil (and Sonja and David for getting him to this point)!!! =0)

I love President Hinckley. He was such a wonderful Prophet, and a great Man! I was reading some post made by some FB buddies, and for some reason it made me think of this talk given back, right after Clay and I were married. We reached 5 years of marriage back at the beginning of June. In a fireside given last night, it was said that most marriages these days last 0 to 5 years. I looked at Clay when that was said, and told him "I think we made it!". Of course, that doesn't mean anything, marriage is always a work in progress. =0) I love this message from President Hinckley, because I can truthfully tell you, that this has been the hardest lesson for me to learn during our marriage. Pride has always been a issue with me, not suffering from it so to speak (I know many would say I am prideful), but seeing it in others and not wanting them to suffer the consequences of it. There was another quote given last night, that as usual opened my eyes once again (repetition is so important). "Pride is about who is right while humility is concerned with what is right." ~ President Kimball. I too, suffer from the first part of this sentence, which just reminds me that I am human, and that I have a very long way to go. I know all of this is kind of random, I'm tired as usual, but just felt like posting. I pray every day that I can be a better person, one worthy of what my Savior did for me during that time in the Garden of Gethsemane. He is my older Brother, a great example to the world, and the one I strive to be like. =0)

Graduation already...

I cannot believe Julia has graduated from Kindergarten. It seems like just yesterday she was crawling around and constructing sentences at 9 months. =0) Crazy how time flies! Congrats Julia!! =0)

Wish I wanted to clean this much!

Ever since Pop Pop let her help him do dishes back on my birthday in January, Gabby has wanted to "help" at the sink every chance she gets! She giggles so much as she is pouring water from one sink to the other! The picture below is her "cheese" she gave me while she was "workin'"!

Now we're washing our hands...again...for probably the millionth time!

Our Memorial day weekend!!

We had a wonderful Memorial day weekend down in Jacksonville. We headed down Friday night, and then went to the Aquarium in Wilmington with Pop Pop and Granny on Saturday! Gabby had a bit of a rough patch in there, from being tired and hungry, however she did overall, wonderful! She had so much fun running from exhibit to exhibit and showing Pop Pop and Granny all of the cool fish. =0)

Gabby did not want to turn her back on the Alligators, hence why she is down at their tails taking the picture! =0)

This little turtle seemed to enjoy Gabby touching him, until one of the employees told us to stop touching him. Problem: No sign saying do not touch, and why in the world would you place them where people sit. People are going to touch them, duh?!

I could not take a picture fast enough of Gabby actually touching the horseshoe crab. She did touch it though!!! =0)

We went to Erin and Jason's for Memorial day to celebrate the Holiday and Jason's birthday. =0) The pool was awesome, and the weather even better!! =0) We had yummy burgers and hot dogs with some amazing sides. =0)
We then went in and sang to Jas and you can really see the enthusiasm on his face throughout the song. ha ha!!!
