Gabby found her St. Patty day hair band yesterday, a little too late sadly enough. She still wore it throughout the day though! What can I say, she loves to accessorize...ha ha! Cavan loves to wear Gabby's galoshes from Pop Pop, and puts them on every chance he gets. Yesterday, he decided to combine them with one of Dad's many hats. I have to say...he was stylin'!!
Sunday, after Church, we had some yummy cupcake with chocolate icing after dinner. Cavan, being a very "hands on" eater, was wearing most of it by the time he was done.
He was also very annoyed at me for taking pictures and NOT taking him out of his seat. It was too funny not to document. Ha!
Today, we decided we needed to watch the Garbage men pick up the trash...it was very thrilling...especially for Cavan!

Mother, oh Mother, come shake out your cloth,
Empty the dustpan, poison the moth,
Hang out the washing and butter the bread,
Sew on a button and make up a bed.
Where is the mother whose house is so shocking?
She’s up in the nursery, blissfully rocking.
Oh, I’ve grown shiftless as Little Boy Blue

Dishes are waiting and bills are past due
(Pat-a-cake, darling, and peek, peekaboo).
The shopping’s not done and there’s nothing for stew

Look! Aren’t her eyes the most wonderful hue?

The cleaning and scrubbing will wait till tomorrow,
For children grow up, as I’ve learned to my sorrow.
So quiet down, cobwebs. Dust go to sleep.
I’m rocking my baby and babies don’t keep.
