Fun Stuff!

We have had a rather fun-filled week, with lots and lots of crazy things going on. We went to Raleigh for Clay. He had an interview at North Carolina Central on Saturday, and then that night we went to Ashlea and Eric Hass' wedding reception in Magnolia. We stayed Friday night with Dana and had a blast with her on Saturday, when we went to a student of hers' birthday party. Here are some pictures of Gabby playing on the vent in between the living room and kitchen. She loves to sit on it when it is on. She is so silly now and very talkative. It's hard to keep her still and she has the boo boos to show for it too unfortunately.

Here Gabby is showing off her cup skills. She loves some juice and absolutely loves these cups.

I'll post all of the videos, hopefully tomorrow!!

Standing a little taller!

So a couple of nights back we were up playing and having a little fun watching the Olympics open and Gabby trying to stand up. She had been trying all day to do so, and then finally last night, she did a bunch. She is so silly in this video and I tell ya, it seems every time she is about to do something, Zaidy walks right in front of the camera. Ay!

This past Tuesday I decided to finally get rid of Gabby's cradle cap. Mom had told me to just put baby oil on it and to scrub, so I did. I did it that morning, before her bath thinking I would wash it out, but unfortunately I didn't do a good job and so her hair was all greasy, all day. That night when Clay got home we started going at it with a comb and got some pretty good hair styles out of it. This might be a little gross to some, but in the pictures I'm posting we are doing her hair in a mo hawk and you can see bits of skin. After we had played with it a bunch I finally took her to get it clean. Needless to say after five washes with her baby wash, and five more scrapes with a comb, it was all gone. Finally, and to think if all I had done was taken a day I wouldn't have been worried about it. Ay!! Her head looks so fresh and clean now, =0) and I love it!!!

Kerriann's and kind of Nick's Birthday!!

I had trouble getting this posted correctly. Clay's laptop doesn't like blogger at all. =0)
We went to Jacksonville on the 19th of July for Kerriann and Nick's birthdays. Nick was out with his family and friends, so he unfortunately wasn't there. Here is Kerriann giving me the "what do you want look?" and eating at the same time. =0) Dad and Johnny worked hard on the wonderful food for the party. They did a pretty good job at keeping all of that from Kerriann. =0) There are lots of candles on the cake, but hey, she has done lots and lots in those 30 + years. He he!! I won't post how many Kerriann!! =0) Not that it is a big deal or anything, right?!!! Love ya!!

The Whaley family, Riley and Judy came to party with us too! =0) Kerriann got a lot of cool presents. I think the biggest suprise was the awesome laptop Johnny suprised Kerriann with. It is sweet!
Aunty Erin was so good making Kerriann her birthday cake. =0) Happy Birthday Guys!!

Crawling....Maybe?

I put Gabby down on the floor the other day and was standing in the kitchen watching her while I was going through the bills. Next thing I know, she is up on her knees rocking back and forth and she takes a couple of little movements forward. I tried to get it on video, and this is the best I have gotten so far. =0) Also, she has broken another tooth. It is one of her front teeth, which is awesome, right beside the little eye tooth that has come in. She had a couple of rough days while it was coming in, so we are glad that it is finally through the gum. =0)

I was trying to sit her up by the way, Clay made the comment that I was dragging her. =0) I hope to actually get her in the action soon. She has already been working hard on sitting up from laying down. Yay!!!

Little Teethies and a Big Ballon

Well, I didn't take any of these pictures with my camera, since I haven't quite gotten it back yet. Mom and Molly came back from Hawaii this past Tuesday and so we have come to visit them here in Jacksonville. They were awesome and came to Greenville yesterday to watch Alvin and the Chipmunks with us at the theater, since it was free. Kerriann, Julia, Ella, Erin, Jason, Emma, Dad, Mom, and Molly all came I should say. We all came back together to jville and have had a very fun time so far. =0) Today, Molly took some pictures of Gabby smiling, so we could finally have a picture of her first tooth. She did good, and got a fantastic picture which if you click on, you can see it much larger. I've posted it along with a bunch of Zaidy playing with a balloon. She chases light and now we have discovered likes to pop balloons up into the air. She ends up popping it while trying to get it up every time. =0) She is such a silly dog. It's great having Mom and Molly back, but we all really wish they could've stayed in Hawaii with Katie and Brian. Especially now that they have Galina! Also, since no one here has the Wii, I thought I'd bring it along so if anyone wanted to have a go at, they could. Well, lo and behold, Mom actually got on and raced little Jason at Mario Kart. It was actually hilarious watching both of them trying to at least stay on the track. In the end, Jason looks at me and says "did Grannie win?", with this serious almost sad look and I made him very happy when I told him, "Nope, in fact Grannie got last place and you beat by a whole 4 spots!". I got a big old smile after that and a laugh. =0) Grannie was so funny, just giggling the whole time. So I got pictures. He he!! The video at the end is actually the first video we took of Gabby rolling back in May. She had done it once or twice before the video was taken, but I didn't get that taped, so here is the first. I found it here on Mom's computer. =0)
