What do you mean the ornaments have to stay on the tree...

We had a grand ol' time decorating the tree yesterday. Gabby had been sick over the weekend, and was still last night, however we decided to go ahead and give it a shot. It was so fun watching her enjoy it all for about 15 minutes. Then the boredom set in and she was so busy taking ornaments off of the tree and then getting into what Daddy was doing, that it just made the evening such a joy (please note sarcasm). =0) We put candy canes on it today and she has already attempted to eat any in sight. Gotta love the Season!!!

At one point she was asking for Oreo's and so to appease the storm that was raging, we gave her one. If you zoom in, you can see it all over her face. =0)

This is my gorgeous Christmas cactus that my Mom gave me when Gabby was born. I almost killed it in the house, poor thing. Finally I decided it just had to go outside and it was a good thing I did. It is finally alive and sprouting it's beautiful pink buds. I love it! I'm wondering though, do I need to bring it in during the winter??

Minty fresh or Graffiti!

Every time, it never fails, if Gabby is around when we brush our teeth in the morning, she immediately starts yelling "teeth, teeth" and wanting her toothbrush. This particular morning I couldn't resist snapping a few of her multi-tasking. =0) Gotta love it!

Today, I decided we needed to finally break out the sidewalk chalk. The funny thing though, Gabby only played with it for like two minutes. The rest of the time it was a struggle just to keep her in the same area as me. We ended the playtime on our little tricycle and that is always a riot.

She's getting better about smiling when you ask her to "cheeze". This was the only one she actually held long enough for me to snap! She is so quick!

Bath Time!!!

Gabby decided she wanted to put her little Tinkerbell costume(thank you Emma, Jason & Shelby) on finally. So I had to snap some shots of her playing around in it. =0) Below is a collage of Gabby having a blast in the tub with her cool bath tub water changing tablets and bubble bath. Her 10 minute bath turned into a 30 minute ordeal. Zaidy wanted to drink the water, it smelled like watermelon (Thanks Sonja and David). =0)

Happy Birthday Clay!!

We had a very fun and festive weekend, wrapping it up with Clay's birthday celebration on Sunday!! He is so fun and seriously, Gabby and I love him to death!! ha ha!! Hope you had a great day Clay!!! =0) Funny story about the cake. Sonja made Clay one of his favorite cakes, a pineapple upside down cake. Gabby, after dinner was all about some cake. Well, Clay was cutting pieces and a piece went to her and she freaked out. Apparently, that did not look like cake. She wanted nothing to do with it. I have to say though, everyone else loved it. Sonja did a awesome job on it. Aunt Dana (did about all of the work), Paw Paw and Grandma-ma made him a delicious dinner.

Happy Halloween!!!

We had our Trunk-or-Treat Friday night and Gabby loved, and I mean loved it! She was a adorable little Butterfly. We stuck with the Butterfly even though we did get the one that we had a picture of. It ended up being a poor quality costume, that cost way too much. The Butterfly won, so we got her a cute one, somewhere else. =0) Just in case anyone was wondering, and thanks to all of you who voted. It made our decision the easiest!!! =0)
