Awww, the memories!!!!

This picture, for some reason, I could not find while we were partying with Aunt Mi mi. Gabby decided at one point that she needed to get into Julius's car seat. His car seat is in a chair, for easy access. She pulled her stool right up to the seat, and crawled on up in. Thankfully she didn't do it again...attempted yes, however never succeeded. =0)
Pop Pop and Granny came up on Thursday to visit with us and hang out. Gabby of course kept Pop Pop occupied in the bedroom playing!! =0)
While in WA, Clay sent Gabby, Molly and I a beautiful rose bush for Valentines. I say Molly, because he knew I could not bring it back with me so he was very nice in that he got her a bush so that it would live for as long as she wanted it too! =0) Molly mentioned that she'd tell Nick that Clay got her Valentines flowers too!! Hee hee, so sneaky!! I hope they are blooming big for you Molls!!
By the time we left, little Julius was smiling all of the time at Aunt Mi mi. It was so fun to attempt to make him smile. Gabby and I were blessed with one every once in awhile, however Molly just had to talk to him and he would just light up. It was so wonderful to watch!! I had to take advantage Monday morning and snap some of him smiling at his Mommy. So fun!!! =0) I do love his face in one of the pictures, giving me the "who you lookin' at" look. One is of a sneeze too! =0) Ha ha!!

The end!!!

We, of course, had to make the very long trek back to the car. Molly, who is amazingly fit, would run ahead of us on each slope and take a picture. She was the one that made the walk back go by so quickly. She would run ahead of us, playing with Gabby, and that kept Gabby laughing and walking. It was so fun!! (The steps at the beginning were not so fun...I was ready to just tell her to come back for me in a hour after I had a chance to just sit. Ha ha!)

When we finally made it back to the car, we got all settled in and drove to Forks. It was a cute little town. The Twilight store was huge compared to the one in Port Angeles. Now all of the sites from Twilight here are from the book, not the movie. So we drove to see Forks High and then to see Bella's truck. Bella's house was too far to attempt so late in the day. Maybe next time! =0)

The end!! *sniff* *sniff*

La Push...oh yes!!!

This was the beautiful view we came across after we....

went through this lovely lovely hike below! We were a little unprepared for this walk. It only said a moderate hike. A little over a mile later, we made it to the above collage. Of course, once we made it, we were met with about 50 feet of drift wood (which you can see in the first picture in the top right corner of the below collage) that we had to manage to get over just to get to the beautiful beach. It was very tedious, especially with Gabby and little Julius. We did it though, and had a blast along the way. Both Molly and I have decided we'd do it all over again, it was that fun!

Once on the gorgeous "black" sand, we enjoyed watching Gabby run around picking up sand, throwing it and even attempting to smear it all over her face.

On the way back, I really had to go to "el baƱo". I braved this lovely "privy" and even lived to take some pictures. Let's just say it was a toilet over a huge huge whole filled with waste. Fun!!!

In the beginning Thursday night...

We watched Gabby play with her new "Crabby" hat from Aunt Mi mi. We started with just the dress and slowly but surely, she added the hat and shoes. Gotta love fashion!!

Then, Friday morning, we headed to visit Forks. On the way, we stopped in Port Angeles to check out a few of the sites there and to eat. The resturaunt "Bella Italia" where Edward and Bella had their "first" date in the book was closed until dinner time. So we settled on a little hole in the wall (literally) place called "Haven on 1st Street". It was nice and the food was yummy. The Twilight store was tiny compared to the one in Forks. I had to stick a picture of Sonja's favorite place to eat in there. It was the first and only one I've seen. =0)

On our way to Forks, we pass by Lake Crescent. It was a very long drive around this lake, but the view was spectacular!! The water took on so many different shades of blue and green. It was beautiful!!!

Seattle or Bust!!!

Molly was awesome and braved Seattle yesterday with us. =0) I know she can't wait to not have to worry about driving anywhere for anything but groceries! Ha ha!! We made it there by noon and started out at the Public Market Center, which actually is all centered around a little fish shop called "Pikes Place Market". It's the one where they yell as their throwing your fish around. =0) They threw Molly's salmon around for her too. It was pretty neat!! The first collage is just of the many sites around us as we were coming into and while we were in Seattle.
Here are a bunch of pictures of us at the Market. Molly couldn't resist this little crab hat, and Gabby of course, was too excited to wear it! Too cool!!

This is for Clay. The Crocodile is a famous venue for the start of a bunch of popular bands, such as Nirvana. We were thinking of eating there, but it looked all closed up, so we just took pictures and left. Plus, there was this very intoxicated and "high" woman walking around yelling not very appropriate things. Some pictures came out blurry, because I took them as I was walking! Ha ha!!

Here we are at the top of the Space Needle. It was awesome!! Gabby loved it and did not want to come back inside. It was so cold and windy on one side and bright and sunny on the other. Most pictures were taken on the less breezy side. Gabby was almost knocked over by the wind a few times. Poor kid! She loved having Aunt Mi Mi hold her up to the telescope, and that was only made possible by Julius's very awesome disposition. He slept the whole time we were in Seattle. Well, he woke up after the Space Needle to eat, yet that was the very last thing we did, before eating dinner and leaving. He was such a little trooper the whole time. I do not think we will do that to him again though. =0) You have to love Gabby's expression as she is "trying" to look through the telescope. She is so fun!! Also, don't ya just love the view of Mt. Rainier? It was amazing. The coolest part, is on our way to Seattle, we drive right by it. It is HUGE!!!! =0)

Julius and Gabby!!

Gabby has been quite taken with little Julius! She is always wanting to "help" Aunt Mi mi and do for Julius. I have been forbidden to touch him on occasion. =0) Aunt Mi mi was awesome and got some pictures of Gabby hanging out with him the day we got here and then the next day, while we were hanging out. I think she is going to love having a little brother, especially if he is anything like little Julius!! =0)

Scenic Beach State Park on the Hood Canal!

Molly and I decided on Presidents day to head out to see some sites. We ended up going with the Scenic Beach State Park which was only supposed to be 20 minutes from her house. Well, just our luck as we're heading towards we come to a detour. It just happened to be right before the turn off into the park. So...we decided to take the detour. It ended up taking us a extra 45 minutes. In total, about a hour to get to this beautiful little beach. It was worth, believe me. I posted the first picture by itself, because it kept coming out blurry in the collages. We took this after I had dropped poor Gabby's foot into a little stream of water we were trying to cross. Poor kid!!!
Here are a bunch of pictures of Aunt Mi Mi, Julius, Gabby and I, having fun on the beach. It was a bit nippy, so we were all bundled up.

Here is the wonderful, gorgeous view of the mountain range on the opposite side. It was just breathtaking.

The cool Bald Eagle that a nice gentlemen pointed out to us. It was quite a way off, so we decided to walk down the beach to it. It was way way way up in the top of a tree.

I just love this girl!

Gabby is just so unique to me. She doesn't always want her picture taken, as you will be able to see in the bottom right picture. Yet, when she does, she will ham it up. For example, the many random pictures of her up close and personal, mainly with her tongue. She is such a little comedian AND showman! I love it!! =0) She has also become quite skilled with a cell phone. This little one is fake of course, however she loves pretending to talk on it and to have Clay and I talk to whoever she wants too!!

Sunday Snow Day!!

We had to take advantage of the snow on Sunday too. We didn't think it was going to last until Wednesday. =0) Paw paw and Grandma-ma came over to play for a bit and Gabby thoroughly enjoyed it. She was so tired though, that when Daddy decided that he wanted to go in, Gabby followed without any question or fight. It was so funny!! I stayed outside to play with Zaidy for a bit longer. Zaidy discovered the soccer ball and that she would have to bite it in order to keep it. It was so funny to watch. =0)
