Happy Birthday Clay!!

We had a very fun and festive weekend, wrapping it up with Clay's birthday celebration on Sunday!! He is so fun and seriously, Gabby and I love him to death!! ha ha!! Hope you had a great day Clay!!! =0) Funny story about the cake. Sonja made Clay one of his favorite cakes, a pineapple upside down cake. Gabby, after dinner was all about some cake. Well, Clay was cutting pieces and a piece went to her and she freaked out. Apparently, that did not look like cake. She wanted nothing to do with it. I have to say though, everyone else loved it. Sonja did a awesome job on it. Aunt Dana (did about all of the work), Paw Paw and Grandma-ma made him a delicious dinner.

Party Time!

We had Clay's birthday party last night, on his birthday, at Grandma's house. We had a blast and he got lots of really great gifts. Thank you so much to everyone who got him something or even pitched in on something! He was/is excited about everything he had received. =0) Tonight we attempted to have our first big Birthday bash for Gabby who is now the big 1!! She has thoroughly enjoyed almost all of her gifts. Some just had to be opened tonight. We tried to do the party outside, and truthfully the weather was awesome but I completely forgot how the time had changed and now it gets darker earlier. So we started out outside but about an hour into the party we were all crammed in our little home!! =0) It may sound strange but I love it when everyone is close and cozy! He he!! Gabby I don't think knew what to do with herself with all of the attention. She didn't want to sit with me while we opened her gifts. She got upset when Uncle David let go of her hands. Soon though, she was paying attention to the gifts that were coming her way. She got lots of awesome toys and clothes!! Thank you to all of you who gave her something! We are so grateful to all of you, family and friends! Thank you so much for making Gabby's first birthday an awesome experience! We love y'all!!
