Madi is now almost 10 months and weighs in at a whopping 15 pounds! She definitely has the length down though, at 27 3/4 inches long! She is wanting to crawl, very badly in fact, however still cannot get the push off. She gets up on her ankles and rocks, and then either face plants or rolls over. It is hilarious. She is talking and chibber chabbing all of the time and is even living up to her nickname... Mad...i! The two bottom teeth in her mouth have come in, and now the top two are making their way down, which of course means lots of sleepless nights. Still nursing, but loves to eat anything that you place in front of her. Clapping, waving and dancing are accomplishments so far. At the doctors today, she demonstrated a skill that usually only comes when a baby hits 12 months. She mimicked the doctor with clapping two toys together. She didn't like the Doctor trying to make her do it. We are now working on getting her to sleep through the night. It is definitely a work in progress!! If I have food in my hand, you will squeal and scream at me until I give you some of it!
Trains have become an obsession with Cavan these days. He is weighing in at a whole 32 pounds! He loves to watch toy train videos, but he has come to love other shows on Netflixs. When we go on our walks he loves to pick up sticks and shoot things! He collects rocks to throw in the ponds and we love to look for the little fish in the shallow water! He can run on a 100% all of the time, but when he crashes...he crashes! His therapy is going wonderfully! We can understand him 90% of the time, rather than not at all!!! His little brain goes so fast though, we still have to have him slow down so we can understand him!! He is so cute with the phrases he comes up with especially when tattling on big sister!
Gabby is loving kindergarten...although I think riding the school bus is the most exciting part of her day...because of her friend Vincent! She talks about him non-stop! Madi is still her BFF, which we always get a earful of her as well!!! =0) She is doing great in school, only struggling with reading. She tends to go for speed and guessing when reading and unfortunately she is suffering a little because of it. She is smart girl, so we know she'll get it!
